Cross-Platform Mobile, Built for Production
Over five years shipping production mobile apps, I've worked across the full lifecycle - architecture, API design, release management, and the operational realities of software real users depend on. Flutter is where I have the deepest production depth; React Native is a growing part of how I build cross-platform, and I reach for native Swift when a platform requirement demands it.
That production depth was built inside regulated fintech - cross-border payments, wallet infrastructure, open banking - where security-conscious design, predictable state management, and operational observability aren't optional. That discipline now extends to two React Native products I'm building on my own time - see Currently Building below.
I work remotely with distributed teams across Canada, the UK, Europe, Australia, and Africa. I take ownership of production systems, not just features - rollout strategy, incident response, and what happens when a third-party dependency degrades at 2am, whatever the domain.
